So, for planning purposes, here are the abilities Ramza will be getting back:
(Although my game version of Ramza has ALL THE CLASSES mastered, I am sticking with warrior classes instead of mage classes, since all of the cut scenes and art in the game have him featured as with swords, armor, etc. Hopefully that will prevent him from being OP.)
General Fighting Abilities (and equipment):
Ramza will start out armed to the teeth (Weapons store discount FTW), and he will know how to use them. He will have a sword and probably a few knives. He has the Dual Wield Ability, so he can use two (one-handed) weapons at once. In addition, he has the THROW ability, so if he is out of slicing range, he can hurl a blade at an enemy. If he runs out of weapons, he is also skilled enough at the Monk/Martial Arts style of fighting to hold his own with his fists.
Special Abilities:
Squire Class- (Info from FFwiki)
Focus: Increase physical attack power.
Rush: Attack by ramming into the enemy's body.
Stone: Lob a stone at a far-off foe
Salve: Remove several status ailments. Removes: Blind, Silence, Poison.
Tailwind: Boost an ally's Speed.
Chant: Sacrifice HP to restore twice as much to an ally.
Steel: Encourage an ally, increasing their Bravery.
Shout: Increase Bravery, Speed, and physical and magickal attack power with a hearty battle cry.
As for the ill effects caused by the event, Ramza will start feeling...off...at first, gradually growing weaker. It is the effect felt by his father after sustained Mossfungus Poisoning. In large doses, the poison can incapacitate a person, but in small amounts, it is less noticeable of a drain. So, basically, he will have a poison status effect, but one that is so subtle that he won't notice at first.
